MillBridge is an innovative New Zealand online media company providing new and powerful ways for people to connect, source funeral information, express condolences and share remembrances of loved ones.

The initial idea for publishing death notices and other associated information online came from founder Trevor Pratt of Christchurch.

“While I was away overseas for a period of time I found I could not read the death notices from my local town. This started me thinking that with so many New Zealanders travelling within New Zealand and overseas or choosing to live permanently abroad this was something that was needed,” says Trevor.

Trevor invited friend and software quality control expert Roger Turner to help him develop his ideas into a sustainable business. It has proved to be a fruitful partnership with the site launched just months after Trevor identified the need for this service.

“We are really excited about what we’ve achieved but realise feedback from the site’s users is critical to success. So please tell us what you think and share your ideas with us on how to make the site even better,” says Roger.
